Trust the Process Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 A butterfly must struggle to get out of the cocoon, it strengthens its wings, allowing it to fly. A butterfly is supposed to struggle. Many times, it’s very difficult to fully understand why we humans must struggle, in oh-so-many areas. Rather than be mad about the struggle, or work hard to avoid it, embrace it and realize there must be a good reason for it. I’ve had several situations lately, which just don’t seem fair, or right or pleasant in any way. But God says to give thanks in all things . It’s my job to obey Him and thank Him, no matter what. This is true while watching your kids, family members or friends. Sometimes, you just need to walk away and let them go through the process, without you trying to fix it or make it easier. I call this “Trusting the Process”
